Dr. Madara Dzudzilo

Dr. Madara Dzudzilo is an oral medicine specialist and researcher at Rīga Stradiņš University, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal diseases. She holds a doctoral degree in medical and health sciences, with her thesis investigating early signs of malignancy in oral leukoplakia through tissue and saliva biomarker analysis.

Her research expertise spans oral leukoplakia, mouth cancer, squamous cell carcinoma, oral mucosa immunology, and biomarker expression patterns including protein P27 and CD44 antigens. She has authored 21 publications including journal articles, conference abstracts, and her doctoral thesis "Detecting Early Signs of Malignancy of Oral Leukoplakia in its Tissues and Saliva."

Dr. Dzudzilo works at the RSU Institute of Stomatology Oral Medicine Centre, where she provides clinical consultations for oral mucosal diseases. She is a certified dentist and a member of the Latvian Dental Association, the Latvian Oral Medicine and Pathology Society, and the European Association of Oral Medicine.
